Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor that is configured so that a plurality of inner holding members 11 can be installed in an upper frame body 8 of a handrail even after the upper frame body 8 of a handrail is fixed to an upper part of a handrail panel 4A, and a method for assembling a passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: An inner holding member 11 has a shape in which a pair of sandwiched parts 12 which are sandwiched between upper end parts of a handrail panel 4A and a pair of light source holding parts 13 holding a light source storing body 14 are integrally constituted of wire having elasticity. An interval between the pair of sandwiched parts 12 is smaller than an interval between the upper end parts of the handrail panel 4A and an upper frame body 8 of a handrail, and the pair of sandwiched parts 12 cross the handrail panel 4A at angles 27 between 80 degrees and 100 degrees when viewed from above while being sandwiched between the upper end parts of the handrail panel 4A. The pair of light source holding parts 13 cross the handrail panel at angles 28 between 50 degrees and 70 degrees when viewed from above, with the pair of sandwiched parts 12 being sandwiched between the upper end parts of the handrail panel 4A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】欄干上部枠体8を欄干パネル4Aの上部に固定した後でも欄干上部枠体8内に複数の内部保持部材11を設置できる乗客コンベアおよび乗客コンベアの組立方法を提供。【解決手段】内部保持部材11は、欄干パネル4Aの上端部に挟み込まれる一対の挟み込み部12と、光源収納体14を保持する一対の光源保持部13とが、弾性を有する線材により一体的に構成された形状を有し、一対の挟み込み部12の間隔は、欄干パネル4Aの上端部と欄干上部枠体8との間の隙間よりも小さく一対の挟み込み部12が欄干パネル4Aの上端部に挟み込まれた状態で上方から見たときに欄干パネル4Aに対して80度から100度の間の角度27で交差し、一対の光源保持部13は、一対の挟み込み部12が欄干パネル4Aの上端部に挟み込まれた状態で上方から見たときに前記欄干パネルに対して50度から70度の間の角度28で交差することを特徴とする。【選択図】 図4
