PIPE MEMBER CONNECTION DEVICE USING A WEDGE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe member connection device using a wedge member which is smoothly guided in a vertical direction by firmly fixing a horizontal steel pipe of a vertical support post having no part where the outer periphery of a mounting device protrudes from the outer periphery of the horizontal steel pipe and a wedge member does not enter into the horizontal steel pipe.SOLUTION: Provided is a connection device for connecting a horizontal steel pipe 2 to a vertical support post 1 for temporary scaffolding. The vertical support post 1 has a flange 11 having a rectangular fitting hole 111. An attachment member 4 is fixed to the end part of the horizontal steel pipe 2. The attachment member 4 has a notch into which the flange 11 can be inserted. A biforked wedge member 5 is inserted into a through hole in a vertical direction. The attachment member 4 has a support post fixing part which comes into close contact with the outer periphery of the vertical support post 1 in a predetermined wide range. The lower part of the attachment member 4 has a shape not protruding from the horizontal steel pipe 2 toward the vertical support post 1 except a part along the vertical support post 1. When connecting the horizontal steel pipe 2 into the vertical support post 1, the flange 11 is inserted into the notches of the horizontal steel pipe 2 and the attachment member 4. The wedge member 5 is inserted while bridging front edge part of the flange 11 by the biforked part to connect to the flange 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】縦支柱の水平鋼管を強固に固定し、取付装置の外周が水平鋼管の外周よりも突出する部分がなく、かつ、クサビ部材が水平鋼管内に入り込まず、上下方向にスムーズに案内するクサビ部材による管体接続装置を提供する。【解決手段】仮設足場のための縦支柱１に水平鋼管２を接続する接続装置であって、縦支柱１には矩形の嵌合孔１１１を有するフランジ１１を設け、水平鋼管２の端部に取付部材４を固着し、取付部材４にはフランジ１１が挿入可能な切り込みと、二股のクサビ部材５が垂直方向の貫通孔に挿入され、取付部材４には縦支柱１の外周に所定の広い範囲で密着する支柱固定部を設け、取付部材４の下部は縦支柱１側に沿った部分以外は水平鋼管２から突出しない形状にし、縦支柱１に水平鋼管２を接続する際に、フランジ１１が水平鋼管２及び取付部材４の切り込みに挿入され、クサビ部材５の二股でフランジ１１の前縁部を跨いで挿入して接続する。【選択図】図１
