SMALL TYPE BRAKE HINGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small type brake hinge for a take-out lid installed at an aggregate mail-box or the like at a condominium and enabling the lid to be stopped accurately at a specified opening or closing position.SOLUTION: Shallow wide width grooves are formed in an axial line direction at an inner peripheral wall of a circular hole 2 of a brake sleeve 3 and in turn a pivot 5 is provided with a wide width protrusion part 7 corresponding to the wide width groove in an axial line direction. Upon press fitting of the pivot into the brake sleeve, an outer peripheral surface of the pivot protrusion part and an inner peripheral surface of the brake sleeve become frictional brake surfaces and upon coincidence between the wide width groove of the brake sleeve and the wide width protrusion of the pivot due to rotation of either the brake sleeve or the pivot, a click feeling is generated to cause them to be stopped accurately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】マンションの集合郵便受けなどの取り出し蓋用の小型制動ヒンジであり、その蓋を所定の開閉位置で正確に停止できる小型制動ヒンジを提供する。【解決手段】制動スリーブ３の円形孔２の内周壁において浅い広幅溝を軸線方向に形成し、一方、ピボット５には広幅溝に対応する広幅凸部７を軸線方向に設けることにより、ピボットを制動スリーブ内に圧入するとピボット凸部の外周面と制動スリーブの内周面とが摩擦制動面になり、制動スリーブまたはピボットの回転により、制動スリーブの広幅溝がピボットの広幅凸部と一致すると、クリック感が生じて正確に停止する。【選択図】図１
