CURL REDUCTION DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of curl in a sheet without increasing cost even when the temperature inside the device is increased.SOLUTION: A curl reduction device 7a comprises: a fixing film 22 that includes a heater 23; a pressure roller 24 that forms a fixing nip N with the fixing film 22 to fix an image to a sheet P conveyed to the fixing nip N; and a curl reduction part 12 that, on the downstream side in a sheet conveyance direction of the fixing nip N, causes the heater 23 to supply, to the back face of the sheet P conveyed from the fixing nip N being on the pressure roller 24 side at the fixing nip N, a larger quantity of heat than that to the front face being on the fixing film 22 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】装置内の温度が上昇した場合等であってもコストを上昇させることなくシートにおけるカールの発生を抑制すること。【解決手段】カール抑制装置７ａは、ヒータ２３を有する定着フィルム２２と、定着フィルム２２との間に定着ニップＮを形成し、定着ニップＮに搬送される用紙Ｐに画像を定着させる加圧ローラ２４と、定着ニップＮのシート搬送方向の下流側において、定着ニップＮから搬送される用紙Ｐの定着ニップＮにおける加圧ローラ２４側となる裏面に定着フィルム２２側となる表面より大きい熱量がヒータ２３より供給されるようにするカール抑制部１２と、を有する。【選択図】図３
