Also, provided is the radiation shielding material having very high radiation shielding effect per unit weight since the radiation shielding effect per unit weight can be further enhanced by mixing the titanium oxide nanotubes with a hydrogen peroxide solution.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】単位重量あたりの放射線遮蔽効果の高い放射線遮蔽素材を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】酸化チタンナノチューブを放射線遮蔽素材として用いることで、単位重量あたりの放射線遮蔽効果の高い放射線遮蔽素材を提供する。また、この酸化チタンナノチューブと過酸化水素水とを混合することで、単位重量あたりの放射線遮蔽効果を更に高めることができ、単位重量あたりの放射線遮蔽効果が非常に高い放射線遮蔽素材を提供する。【選択図】なし
