Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaf tobacco dryer capable of achieving enlarging a drying chamber while using an existing pit arranged in the base of a leaf tobacco drying facility for a lower space, and a construction method.SOLUTION: In a leaf tobacco dryer having a hot blast generation device 2 for heating outer air taken into a casing 4 by an air blower 5 from an inlet port 8 by a fire furnace 7 and generating high-temperature dry air, and a drying chamber 3 for pulling down leaf tobacco 35 and blowing up the high-temperature dry air generated by the hot blast generation device 2 from the lower space, the drying chamber 3 is constituted by a pit panel part 18 arranged in a pit P bored in a base G in the drying facility, a ground base part 20 mounted on an upper face of the base G around the pit P and jointed with an upper part of the pit panel part 18, and a ground panel part 19 mounted on an upper face of the ground base part 20 and jointed with the ground base part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】葉たばこ乾燥施設の基礎に設けた既存ピットを下部空間に利用しつつ乾燥室の大型化を図れる葉たばこ乾燥機と施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】吸気口8から送風機5によりケーシング4内に取り入れた外気を火炉7によって加熱し、高温の乾燥空気を生成する熱風発生装置2と、葉たばこ35が吊り込まれると共に熱風発生装置2で生成された高温の乾燥空気が下部空間から吹き上げられる乾燥室3を備える葉たばこ乾燥機において、乾燥室3を、乾燥施設内の基礎Gに穿設されたピットP内に設置されるピットパネル部18と、ピットPの周囲の基礎G上面に載置されてピットパネル部18の上部に接合される地上ベース部20と、地上ベース部20の上面に載置されて地上ベース部20と接合される地上パネル部19から構成する。【選択図】図3
