SHUNT RESISTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shunt resistor capable of stabilizing a resistance value.SOLUTION: A shunt resistor comprises: a resistive element 11 consisting of a metal; and a pair of electrodes 12a and 12b connected to both ends of the resistive element 11. The pair of electrodes 12a and 12b includes: terminal parts 13a and 13b for mounting a mounting substrate 20 which are provided lower than the resistive element 11 and extend in a direction where the resistive element 11 is positioned; and legs 14a and 14b which rise relatively to the mounting substrate 20 and connect the resistive element 11 with the terminal parts 13a and 13b. A side face 15 positioned in a direction of the pair of legs 14a and 14b away from the resistive element 11 includes: a first metal layer 16 which is formed in a portion of its lower part and of which the solder wettability is higher than that of the pair of electrodes 12 and 12b; and a coating layer 17 which is provided in a location where the first metal layer 16 is not formed, and of which the solder wettability is higher than that of the first metal layer 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明は、抵抗値を安定させることができるシャント抵抗器を提供することを目的とするものである。【解決手段】本発明のシャント抵抗器は、金属で構成された抵抗体１１と、抵抗体１１の両端部に接続された一対の電極１２ａ、１２ｂとを備え、一対の電極１２ａ、１２ｂはそれぞれ、抵抗体１１より下方に設けられ抵抗体１１の位置する方向に延びる実装用基板２０取り付け用の端子部１３ａ、１３ｂと、実装用基板２０に対して起立しかつ抵抗体１１と端子部１３ａ、１３ｂとを接続する脚部１４ａ、１４ｂとを有し、一対の脚部１４ａ、１４ｂの抵抗体１１から遠ざかる方向に位置する側面１５に、その下部の一部に形成され一対の電極１２ａ、１２ｂよりはんだ濡れ性がよい第１金属層１６と、第１金属層１６が形成されていない箇所に設けられ第１金属層１６よりはんだ濡れ性が悪い被覆層１７とを設けたものである。【選択図】図１
