ASSEMBLING JIG OF OPTICAL CONNECTOR AND ASSEMBLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling jig of an optical connector which can easily fix a fiber assembly and a connector main body to each other by a stopper while protecting an end face of a ferrule, and an assembling method.SOLUTION: An assembling jig 10 of an optical connector comprises: a fiber assembly which is attached with a ferrule at its tip, and in which an optical fiber extends rearward from the ferrule; a connector main body for receiving the optical fiber; and a stopper having a tip face penetrating the ferrule, and a leg extending rearward from the tip face, and engaged with the connector main body, and assembling the fiber assembly to the connector main body. The assembling jig also comprises: a jig main body 20 having a simulated sleeve for receiving an end face of the ferrule which protrudes from the tip face of the stopper; a head part 40 having a stopper support part for supporting a leg of the stopper, and a connector support part for supporting the connector main body; and a press part 50 for pushing the connector main body which has received the optical fiber into the tip face of the stopper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】フェルールの端面を保護しつつ、ファイバアッセンブリとコネクタ本体とをストッパで容易に固定することができる光コネクタの組立治具、組立方法を提供する。【解決手段】先端にフェルールを装着し、光ファイバがフェルールから後方に延びたファイバアッセンブリと、光ファイバを受容するコネクタ本体と、フェルールを挿通する先端面、および、先端面から後方に延びてコネクタ本体に係合する脚を有し、ファイバアッセンブリをコネクタ本体に組み付けるストッパとを備える光コネクタの組立治具１０である。ストッパの先端面から突出したフェルールの端面を受容する模擬スリーブを有した治具本体２０と、ストッパの脚を支持するストッパ支持部、および、コネクタ本体を支持するコネクタ支持部を有するヘッド部４０と、光ファイバを受容したコネクタ本体をストッパの先端面に向けて押し込むプレス部５０とを備えた。【選択図】図１
