Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter material for a fuel for an automobile having sufficient capture performance of fine particles, and capable of attaining longevity.SOLUTION: There is provided a filter material for a fuel for an automobile formed by laminating a plurality of nonwoven fabrics. In the filter material for a fuel for an automobile, a permeability of the whole laminated nonwoven fabrics is 10 cc/min-cmor more, and a void ratio of the whole laminated nonwoven fabrics is 85% or more, and the filter material can capture 90% or more of particles having a particle size of 30 μm or more, and a filter life measured by a measuring method based on JIS-B-8356-8 is 40 minutes or longer.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】微細粒子の十分な捕捉性能を有し、かつ、長寿命化を達成する自動車燃料用フィルター材の提供。【解決手段】複数の不織布を積層させた自動車燃料用フィルター材であって、該積層不織布全体の通気度は10cc/min・cm2以上であり、該積層不織布全体の空隙率は85%以上であり、そして該フィルター材は、粒子径30μm以上の粒子を90%以上捕捉することができ、かつ、JIS-B-8356-8に準拠した測定方法により測定したフィルター寿命が40分以上であることを特徴とする前記自動車燃料用フィルター材。【選択図】なし
