PASSENGER CONVEYOR AND INSTALLATION METHOD OF PASSENGER CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor and an installation method of a falling prevention structure capable of preventing a frame from falling from a building structure by vibration of an earthquake and the like, in the case where a wall and a beam of the building structure is provided only in one width direction of the passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor includes: a plurality of footsteps or step boards connected in an endless manner; a driving device for circularly moving the plurality of footsteps or step boards; and a frame for incorporating the plurality of footsteps or step boards. At the lateral side of an upper member of the frame, a falling prevention member which is engaged with an engagement member fixed to a wall or a beam of a building structure is provided.
