PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling-raising container that allows a plant mat to be produced such that the plant mat makes plants harder to wither after transplantation, and is particularly suitable for the production of a heterogeneous plant mat.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a seedling-raising container that comprises: a bottom surface 11 in which a concave streak portion 111 and a convex streak portion 112 extend in the first direction and are successively formed one after the other; and a side wall 12 surrounding the bottom surface 11. The total area (S1) of the bottom surface is 1.2 times or more and 2.0 times or less the cross-sectional area (S0) thereof in the horizontal direction. The recess 111 has a drain hole 113.
