Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate connection structure of a superconducting cable which is hard to be damaged even when a part connecting end parts of a cable core moves.SOLUTION: An intermediate connection structure of a superconducting cable connects superconducting cables provided with cable cores and a heat insulated pipe including an inner tubes housing the cable cores, and includes: a connection processing part connecting end parts of the cable core exposed from the inner tube; a guide part covering a range from an exposure part of one of the cable cores over to at least a part of the connection processing part so as to allow the connection processing part to move; an intermediate refrigerant tank which houses the range from the exposure part of one of the cable cores over to an exposure part of the other cable core via the connection processing part together with the guide part; and a pedestal part fixed to the intermediate refrigerant tank and supporting a prescribed position of the guide part. The guide part has: a fixed end connected to the inner tube; an open end movably supported with respect to the pedestal part; and an inner peripheral surface arranged flush with the inner peripheral surface of the end part of the inner tube.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
