Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol resin film having such good releasability as to be suitably used as a base film of a laminate for thermal transfer, and a method for producing the polyvinyl alcohol film, and a laminate for thermal transfer prepared with the polyvinyl alcohol film and a thermal transfer method using the same.SOLUTION: A polyvinyl alcohol film contains, relative to 100 pts.wt of a polyvinyl alcohol resin (A), a polyalkylene glycol with a weight average molecular weight of 1000 or less (B) of 1-15 pts.wt., the polyalkylene glycol (B) being polypropylene glycol.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】熱転写用積層体のベースフィルムに好適に用いることができるような優れた離型性を有するポリビニルアルコール系樹脂フィルム、及び当該ポリビニルアルコール系フィルムの製造方法、並びに当該ポリビニルアルコール系フィルムを用いた熱転写用積層体及び熱転写方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】ポリビニルアルコール系樹脂（Ａ）１００重量部に対して、重量平均分子量１０００以下のポリアルキレングリコール（Ｂ）を１〜１５重量部含有し、ポリアルキレングリコール（Ｂ）がポリプロピレングリコールであることを特徴とするポリビニルアルコール系フィルム。【選択図】なし
