PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for a picture frame capable of storing picture frames having different sizes and aspect ratios in one size, and an inner plate for a packaging material.SOLUTION: A packaging material for a picture frame comprises a lid plate part, an inner plate part, and a bottom plate part. The inner plate part has a rectangular first folding part, a rectangular opening end point formed inside the first folding part, a plurality of rectangular second folding parts formed between the first folding part and the opening end point; and a weakened part provided on a line connecting the opening end point and each apex of the first folding part. Each apex of the second folding part is located on the line provided with the weakened part.
