Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the overheat of an exhaust emission purification catalyst resulting from the blow-out of air through an EGR passage toward an exhaust passage from an intake passage even if a closing failure of an EGR valve occurs, related to a control device of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine 10, an EGR passage 44 for connecting an exhaust passage 14 at an upstream side rather than a downstream-side catalyst 30 and an intake passage 12 at a downstream side rather than a compressor 20a of a turbocharger 20 and a throttle valve 24, and an EGR valve 48 for opening and closing the EGR passage 44, when the occurrence of the blow-out of air through the EGR passage 44 toward the exhaust passage 14 from the intake passage 12 is detected, throttle downstream-side pressure Pm is limited so as to suppress the overheat of the downstream-side catalyst 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】この発明は、内燃機関の制御装置に関し、EGRバルブの閉じ不良が生じたとしても、吸気通路から排気通路に向けてのEGR通路を介した空気の吹き抜けに起因する排気浄化触媒の過熱を抑制することを目的とする。【解決手段】下流側触媒30よりも上流側の排気通路14と、ターボ過給機20のコンプレッサ20aおよびスロットルバルブ24よりも下流側の吸気通路12とを接続するEGR通路44と、EGR通路44を開閉するEGRバルブ48とを備える内燃機関10において、吸気通路12から排気通路14に向けてのEGR通路44を介した空気の吹き抜けの発生が検出された場合に、スロットル下流圧Pmを、下流側触媒30の過熱が抑制されるように制限する。【選択図】図3
