Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical screen printing machine and printing method which can suppress deterioration of printing quality of a printed matter and eliminate waste of ink.SOLUTION: A vertical screen printing machine for performing screen-printing on a vertical print surface of a printed matter is provided with: a bucket 32 which stores ink, applies the stored ink on a screen, and stores surplus ink on the screen; and a squeegee 42 which presses a print area of the screen and transfers the ink to the print surface of the printed matter. The bucket 32 and squeegee 42 can be independently lifted by a bucket lifting mechanism 10 and squeegee lifting mechanism 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】被印刷物の印刷品質の低下を抑制するとともに、インキの無駄をなくすことのできる縦型スクリーン印刷機及び印刷方法を提供する。【解決手段】被印刷物の鉛直の印刷面にスクリーン印刷を施す縦型スクリーン印刷機において、インキを貯留し、この貯留したインキをスクリーンに塗布するとともにスクリーン上の余剰インキを受けて貯留するバケット３２と、スクリーンの印刷エリアを押圧して被印刷物の印刷面にインキを転写するスキージ４２とを有し、バケット３２とスキージ４２とは、バケット昇降機構１０及びスキージ昇降機構２０により独立して昇降可能である。【選択図】図２
