Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detoxicating excavating muck for effectively and sufficiently conducting a treatment of insolubilization of harmful materials without using an insolubilization material at excess amount when harmful materials (heavy metals or the like) contained in excavating muck is insolubilized.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for detoxicating excavating muck including a crushing process for crushing excavating muck including harmful materials to obtain an excavating muck crushed article, an insolubilization material addition process for adding an insolubilization material consisting of magnesium oxide-containing material to the excavating muck crushed article, mixing them and insolubilizing the harmful materials, crushing in the crushing process is conducted till the excavating muck becomes to have a predetermined specific particle size distribution, and the addition of the insolubilization material in the insolubilization material addition process is conducted so that the amount of the insolubilization material adhered to grain in specific particle size range, which constitutes a part of the excavating muck crushed article is a predetermined specific value or more based on unit amount of the grain.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】掘削ずりに含まれている有害物質(重金属類等)を不溶化するに際して、不溶化材を過剰な量で用いることなく、有害物質の不溶化の処理を効率的にかつ十分に行なうための、掘削ずりの無害化処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】有害物質を含む掘削ずりを破砕して、掘削ずり破砕物を得る破砕工程と、上記掘削ずり破砕物に、酸化マグネシウム含有物質からなる不溶化材を添加して混合し、上記有害物質を不溶化する不溶化材添加工程、を含む掘削ずりの無害化処理方法であって、上記破砕工程における破砕は、上記掘削ずりが、予め定めた特定の粒度分布を有するようになるまで行なわれるものであり、上記不溶化材添加工程における不溶化材の添加は、上記掘削ずり破砕物の一部を構成する特定の粒度範囲内の粒体に付着する不溶化材の量が、該粒体の単位量に対して、予め定めた特定の値以上になるように行なわれる、掘削ずりの無害化処理方法。【選択図】なし
