Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil for a rotary electric machine of which the insulation property is extremely improved and which extremely improves durability and, in particular, a voltage-applied life.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a coil for a rotary electric machine, a method of manufacturing the coil, and the rotary electric machine with the coil. The coil for the rotary electric machine comprises a conductor, an insulation layer covering the conductor, and a corona prevention layer covering the insulation layer. The insulation layer is a thermally solidified body of a laminate of tape materials each containing mica. The coil for the rotary electric machine is characterized in that A=T×M represented by a product of a mica quantity M (unit: kg/m) per unit volume in the insulation layer and a number T of laminated layers of the tape materials (unit: number of layers/m) per unit thickness in the insulation layer is equal to or greater than 7500000(unit: kg×layer/m/m).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
