Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording and an image recording method capable of preventing reduction of image quality, and suppressing an increase in humidity within a waveguide pipe.SOLUTION: An image recording device comprises: a head part 4 for discharging an ink to a substrate 2; and a drying part 5 for emitting an electromagnetic wave to the ink on the substrate 2 and heating the ink. The drying part 5 has plural open holes 501 for introducing a low humidity gas to a side wall 534, and a gas is supplied from a gas supply part 61 through the open holes 501. A lid material 9 having a frame 91 which faces a side wall 534 on which the open holes 501 are provided, is provided, so that dew condensation in the drying part 5 is prevented, leakage of the electromagnetic wave from the drying part 5 is suppressed, and a standing wave can be stably formed in the drying part 5, and thus, deterioration of printing quality is prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】 画像品質の低下を防止しつつ、導波管内部の湿度上昇を抑制することができる画像記録装置および画像記録方法を提供する。【解決手段】 基材2へインクを吐出するヘッド部4と、基材2上のインクに電磁波を照射して当該インクを加熱する乾燥部5と、を備え、乾燥部5には側壁534に低湿度の気体を導入するための複数の貫通孔501が設けられ、気体供給部61から貫通孔501を介して気体の供給が行われる。貫通孔501が設けられる側壁534と対向するフレーム91を有する蓋材9を設けることで、乾燥部5の内部での結露を防止しつつ、乾燥部5から電磁波の漏れを抑制し、乾燥部5内部で安定して定在波を形成することで、印刷品質の低下を防止する。【選択図】図6 |
