PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform a plurality of drive support controls.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system includes: a travel history database 320 that stores vehicle data including a plurality of types of information on vehicle operations for each vehicle; a drive characteristic index derivation part 330 that groups the vehicle data of a plurality of vehicles into groups each of which presents similar drive characteristics; a drive characteristic classification part 250 that identifies to which group an own vehicle belongs from a travel history of the own vehicle; extraction means that extracts vehicle data on vehicles whose evaluation concerning a specified evaluation item which is evaluable with the vehicle data is higher than that of the own vehicle from the group identified by the drive characteristic classification part; and a drive system control device 280 that controls a travel mode of the own vehicle to be close to a travel mode carried out on the basis of a vehicle operation indicated by the vehicle data extracted by the extraction means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】複数の運転支援制御を適切に実行する。【解決手段】車両制御システムは、車両操作に関する複数種類の情報を含む車両データを車両毎に記憶する走行履歴データベース３２０と、複数車両の車両データを運転特性が互いに似たグループにグループ分けをする運転特性指標導出部３３０と、自車両の走行履歴から、自車両がグループのいずれに属するかを特定する運転特性分類部２５０と、運転特性分類部が特定したグループの中から、車両データを用いて評価可能な所定の評価項目に関する評価が、自車両よりも高い車両の車両データを抽出する抽出手段と、自車両の走行態様を、抽出手段が抽出した車両データが示す車両操作に基づいて行われる走行態様に近づけるように制御する駆動系制御装置２８０とを備える。【選択図】図１
