PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste toner storage container that can store, as efficiently as possible, a waste toner that is no longer necessary for image formation.SOLUTION: A waste toner storage container 9 is provided therein with a partition wall 101 that partitions a space above a conveying screw 122. A notch part through which the conveying screw 122 is inserted is provided below the partition wall 101, and a height position of a lower end of the partition wall 101 from a bottom plate 96 is the same as that of a lower end of the conveying screw 122. A waste toner dropped from a waste toner receiving port 131 and accumulated in a first lower space 161 is conveyed to a storage space 172 by the conveying screw 122 in a conveyance direction α via the partition wall 101.
