At such times, it is preferable for the conditions of pulse electric field treatment to include an electric field strength of less than 10 kV/cm and for the integrated value of pulse width and pulse frequency per 1 l of culture broth to be 1400-1500 [μs times]. 【課題】微生物における菌体外多糖産生量を促進させるための方法を提供する。【解決手段】微生物における菌体外多糖産生量を促進させるための方法は、菌体外多糖産生微生物にパルス電界処理を行う。このとき、パルス電界処理の条件として、電界強度が10kV/cm未満であり、培養液1lあたりのパルス幅とパルス回数との積算値が1400〜1500[μs・回]が好ましい。また微生物としては、菌体外多糖産生能を有する乳酸菌であって、球菌であることが好ましい。【選択図】なし |
