Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a multilayer ceramic capacitor which is small in loss in a high-frequency band; and a method for manufacturing the multilayer ceramic capacitor.SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor comprises: a ceramic laminate arranged by alternately laminating ceramic dielectric layers and internal electrode layers including, as a primary component, a transition metal other than a metal element of an iron group, and formed so that the internal electrode layers thus laminated are exposed alternately from different end faces: and at least a pair of external electrodes formed on the end faces of the ceramic laminate where the internal electrode layers are exposed. The external electrodes each include: a base conductive layer including less than 7 wt.% of glass, and as a primary component, a transition or noble metal other than a metal element of the iron group, and provided in contact with the ceramic laminate; and a first plating film covering the base conductive layer, having a thickness of no smaller than 1/2 of a thickness of the base conductive layer, and including, as a primary component, a transition metal other than a metal element of the iron group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 高周波数帯での損失が少ない積層セラミックコンデンサおよびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 積層セラミックコンデンサは、セラミック誘電体層と、鉄族以外の遷移金属を主成分とする内部電極層と、が交互に積層され、積層された複数の前記内部電極層が交互に異なる端面に露出するように形成されたセラミック積層体と、前記セラミック積層体の前記内部電極層が露出する端面に形成された少なくとも1対の外部電極と、を備え、前記外部電極は、7重量%未満のガラスを含有し鉄族以外の遷移金属もしくは貴金属を主成分とし前記セラミック積層体に接して設けられた下地導体層と、前記下地導体層を覆い前記下地導体層の厚みに対して1/2以上の厚みを有し鉄族以外の遷移金属を主成分とする第1めっき膜と、を備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1 |
