Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can be bent by a simple method without separating an organic resin film and a glass substrate.SOLUTION: A display device manufacturing method includes the steps of: forming a polyimide film 12 on a first main surface of a support glass 20; forming a display element including a transparent electrode layer 14 and a light-emitting layer 16 on the polyimide film 12; and removing the support glass 20 by etching a second main surface side of the support glass 20 while covering the first main surface side of the support glass 20 including the polyimide film 12 with a protective film 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】有機樹脂膜とガラス基板との剥離を行うことなく、簡易な方法で湾曲可能な表示装置を提供する。【解決手段】 表示装置製造方法は、支持ガラス20の第1の主面上にポリイミド膜12を形成するステップと、ポリイミド膜12上に透明電極層14および発光層16を含む表示素子を形成するステップと、ポリイミド膜12を含む支持ガラス20の第1の主面側を保護フィルム22で覆いつつ、第2の主面側をエッチングすることによって支持ガラス20を除去するステップを含む。【選択図】図3
