RAILWAY VEHICLE APPEARANCE INSPECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle inspection device that implement a highly accurate appearance inspection using shooting images.SOLUTION: The present railway vehicle appearance inspection device comprises: normal image storage means that stores normal images of railway vehicles; line scan-type imaging means that scans the railway vehicle moving on a rail road in a direction going across the rail road to obtain shooting images; correction means (S2) that corrects variations in the shooting image arising from the railway vehicle or a changing factor in shooting environment; object area extraction means (S4) that extracts images of an inspection object area from the shooting images corrected by the correction means; and abnormality detection means (S8) that compares the image of the inspection object area with the image stored in the normal image storage means to detects abnormality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】撮影画像を用いて高精度な外観検査を行うことのできる鉄道車両の検査装置を提供する。【解決手段】この鉄道車両の外観検査装置は、正常な鉄道車両の画像を蓄積した正常画像記憶手段と、線路上を移動する鉄道車両を線路と交差する方向に走査して撮影画像を得るラインスキャン型の撮影手段と、鉄道車両又は撮影環境の変動要素に起因する撮影画像のばらつきを補正する補正手段（Ｓ２）と、補正手段により補正された前記撮影画像の中から検査対象領域の画像を抽出する対象領域抽出手段（Ｓ４）と、検査対象領域の画像と前記正常画像記憶手段に蓄積された画像とを比較して異常を検出する異常検出手段（Ｓ８）とを備えている。【選択図】図３
