Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side part structure that can make both getting on/off performance and side collision performance compatible.SOLUTION: The vehicle side part structure comprises: a side door 15 which has a door inner panel 42 and a door outer panel 44 and opens and closes a door opening portion formed at a side part of a vehicle body 12; and a side sill 31 extended in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, below the side part of the vehicle body 12, and arranged near a lower edge of the door opening portion. The side sill 31 is formed with a hat-shaped cross section opening outward in a vehicle width direction and extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. In the door inner panel 42 is formed a fittable protruding portion 46 with a U-shape cross section which can be fitted into a recessed groove part 32 of the side sill 31 by closing the side door 15 and extends in a longitudinal direction of the door. At the time when the side door 15 is closed, the side sill 31 is reinforced by the fittable protruding portion 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】乗降性と側突性能とを両立させることのできる車両側部構造を提供する。【解決手段】車両側部構造は、ドアインナパネル42とドアアウタパネル44とを有しかつ車体12の側部に形成されたドア開口部を開閉するサイドドア15と、車体12の側部の下部において車体前後方向に延在しかつドア開口部の下縁側に配置されたサイドシル31と、を備える。サイドシル31は、車幅方向外方に開口しかつ車体前後方向に延在する断面ハット型に形成されている。ドアインナパネル42には、サイドドア15の閉止によりサイドシル31の凹溝部32内に嵌合可能でかつドア前後方向に延在する断面コの字状の嵌合凸部46が形成されている。サイドドア15の閉止時において、サイドシル31が嵌合凸部46によって補強される。【選択図】図1
