Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric field detection device capable of accurately detecting a changing state of field strength obtained with an electro-optic crystal.SOLUTION: The electric field detection device includes: an input waveguide; a polarization conversion circuit connected to the input waveguide for polarization-converting an optical output from the input waveguide; an electro-optic crystal that allows the polarization-converted optical signal to incident and reflects the same as return light; a first polarization separation circuit that separates the optical signal reflected by the electro-optic crystal into a TE polarization or a TM polarization; and an output waveguide that transmits the separated polarization optical signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電気光学結晶で得られる電界強度の変化状態を高精度に検出することができる電界検出装置を提供すること。【解決手段】電界検出装置は、入力導波路と、入力導波路に接続され、当該入力導波路の光出力を偏波変換する偏波変換回路と、偏波変換された光信号を入射して戻り光として反射させる電気光学結晶と、電気光学結晶で反射された光信号をTE偏波またはTM偏波に分離する第1の偏波分離回路と、分離された各偏波の光信号をそれぞれ伝搬する出力導波路とを含む。【選択図】図1
