MULTISTAGE PARKING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REMODELING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage parking device that can be applied to remodeling of an existing multistage parking device and that allows a high vehicle exceeding the maximum vehicle height of a reference vehicle to enter and to be accommodated in the device; and a method for remodeling the same.SOLUTION: A multistage parking device 10 that has parking spaces S of two or more stories installed on one installation space comprises a plurality of pallets 12 which can be each accommodated with a vehicle 1 thereon in the parking space S, and a lifting device 14. The lifting device 14 enables each of the pallets 12 to move up and down between a level H of an entrance/exit space where the vehicle 1 enters/exits the parking device and the parking space S.
