PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for further improving user's convenience about post-processing after double feeding of documents.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes document conveying means for conveying a document along a conveyance path, image reading means provided in the conveyance path, and reading front and back images of the document, double feeding detection means provided in the conveyance path, and detecting double feeding of the document, image processing means for combining the front and back images of the document read by the image reading means, and operation means for specifying next operation after double feed detection by the double feeding detection means.
