PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller support tool enabling an operator to adjust easily pressing force of a roller body onto a surface to be painted, to thereby hardly generate painting irregularity, even when supporting the roller body having a small diameter.SOLUTION: A roller support tool comprises a grip 2, a linear shank 13 extending in the axial L direction of the grip 2, a roller holding shaft 1 for supporting rotatably a roller body R, and a connection part 4 for connecting the shank 13 to the roller holding shaft 1, in which an optional length range from a route part between the route part of the shank 13 to the roller holding shaft 1, is thickened furthermore than the roller holding shaft 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 直径の小さいローラ本体を支持する場合であっても、作業者が、被塗装面に対するローラ本体の押し付け力を調整しやすく、塗りムラになりにくいローラ支持具を提供すること。【解決手段】 グリップ２と、このグリップ２の軸線Ｌ方向に延びる直線状の軸部１３と、ローラ本体Ｒを回転可能に支持するローラ保持軸１と、上記軸部１３と上記ローラ保持軸１との間を連結する連結部４とからなり、上記軸部１３の根元部分から上記ローラ保持軸１までの間であって、上記根元部分からの任意の長さ範囲を、上記ローラ保持軸１よりも太くした。【選択図】 図１
