Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the reliability of an electrocardiographic signal measured for a seating person sitting on a seat.SOLUTION: An occupant state determination appliance 1 measures an electrocardiographic signal for a seating person sitting on a vehicular seat S, calculates RRIs which are intervals of output peaks extracted as R waves from the measured electrocardiographic signal, and calculates an absolute value of a difference of consecutive RRIs in the electrocardiographic signal. It then calculates a first evaluation value by dividing an average value of the absolute values of the differences of RRIs consecutive in a target section by an average value of RRIs in the target section. Based on a result of comparison between the first evaluation value and a first threshold, it determines a reliability of the electrocardiographic signal measured in the target section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】シートの着座者について計測した心電信号の信頼性を精度良く判定する。【解決手段】乗員状態判定機器1は、車両用シートSに着座する着座者の心電信号を計測し、計測される心電信号からR波として抽出された出力ピークの間隔であるRRIを算出し、心電信号において連続するRRIの差の絶対値を算出し、対象区間において連続するRRIの差の絶対値の平均値を、対象区間におけるRRIの平均値で除した第1評価値を算出し、第1評価値と第1閾値との比較結果に基づいて、対象区間に計測された心電信号の信頼性を判定する。【選択図】図1
