Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-scale cell culture system capable of culturing multipotent stem cells, particularly iPS cells, to be used in regenerative medicine, etc. in large quantities while allowing the cells to remain undifferentiated in the absence of feeder cells and a coating agent, sub-culturing the cells while eliminating variations due to operator's skills, and culturing adherent cells in a floating state; and to provide an apparatus for transferring a cellular fluid between vessels and a rotating cell culture apparatus, which are used in the system.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a large-scale cell culture system for culturing cells in large quantities in which subculture and transfer of spheroids and culture solution are carried out in a closed system using a vessel 2 having a syringe structure. Here, in the vessel 2, a front flange 6 and a back flange 7, which have the same circular outer shape, are integrally provided at both ends of an outer cylindrical portion. A head 8 is closed with a detachable cap C. In a space surrounded by a gasket 11 of a plunger, in a state being filled with a cellular liquid in which cells are suspended, the large-scale cell culture system is capable of carrying out rotational culture using the front flange 6 and the back flange 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】再生医療等において使用する多能性幹細胞、特にiPS細胞をフィーダー細胞やコーティング剤の不在下で未分化性を維持して大量培養でき、作業者スキルによるバラツキを排除して継代培養でき、接着性細胞も浮遊状態で培養可能な大量細胞培養システム及びそれに用いるベッセル間細胞液移送装置並びに回転細胞培養装置を提供する。【解決手段】シリンジ構造のベッセル2を用いて継代培養及びスフェロイドと培養液の移し替えを閉鎖系で行い、細胞を大量に培養するための大量細胞培養システムであって、ベッセル2は、外筒部の両端に外形が同一円形のフロントフランジ6とバックフランジ7を一体的に設け、ヘッド8を着脱可能なキャップCで塞ぎ、プランジャのガスケット11で囲まれた空間内に、細胞を培養液に懸濁した細胞液を充填した状態で、フロントフランジ6とバックフランジ7を利用して回転培養可能である大量細胞培養システム。【選択図】図7
