PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture device and a culture method that can reduce the amount of use of a culture medium, and can improve the yield of photosynthetic organisms per unit area.SOLUTION: A culture device 1 cultures photosynthetic organisms. The culture device has a carrier 4 of a three-dimensional shape to which the photosynthetic organisms are attached, and a supply unit 7 that supplies the carrier with a culture medium.
