PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of reducing a torque ripple while realizing multi-polarization and capable of reducing unpleasant noise.SOLUTION: An electric motor includes: a first coil 71 that is formed by winding a winding 73 between predetermined teeth 12 at N times in a forward direction; and a second coil 72 that is formed by winding the winding 73 between the predetermined teeth 12 to which the first coil 71 is formed at A times in the forward direction, and is formed by winding the winding 73 between other predetermined teeth 12 adjacent, forward in one direction, to the predetermined teeth 12 to which the first coil 71 is formed at N-A times in the reverse direction. A winding start end 73a of the winding 73 forming the first coil 71 and a winding starting end 73a of the winding 73 forming the second coil 72 are connected to a segment 15 of the same electric potential.
