Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign object removal method and a foreign object removal device that have excellent continuous operation stability for sheets and excellent foreign object removal performance, during removal of foreign objects.SOLUTION: Suction boxes are arranged at a position between two conveyance support bodies having an arrangement interval fulfilling prescribed conditions, the position having vertical symmetry relative to the sheet. Air is jetted towards the sheet from air nozzles arranged inside the suction boxes. Foreign objects are detached from upon the sheet and the detached foreign objects are recovered by using suction wind having average suction airspeed of 0.8-1.2 m/sec from openings in the suction boxes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】異物を除去する際の、シートの連続運転安定性と異物の除去性能に優れた異物の除去方法及び異物の除去装置を提供する。【解決手段】特定の条件を満たす設置間隔を有する2つの搬送用支持体の間で、かつ前記シートに対して上下対称となる位置にサクションボックスを配置し、サクションボックス内に配置したエアノズルからエアーをシートに向けて噴出して、シート上から異物を剥離させ、剥離した異物を、サクションボックスの開口部からの0.8〜1.2m/秒の吸引平均風速を有する吸引風で回収する。【選択図】図1
