IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE AND COVER OPENING/CLOSING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of suppressing deformation of a cover body.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1 includes an enclosure 3, a cover body 5, an engagement part 6, an engaged part 7, and an elastic member 8. The cover body 5 is openable/closable relative to the enclosure 3. The engaged part 7 is provided at the enclosure 3. The engagement part 6 is provided at the cover body 5, and can move between an engagement position at which it engages with the engaged part 7 when the cover body 5 is in the closed state, and a non-engagement position at which engagement with the engaged part 7 is released.
