METHOD FOR EVALUATING DAMAGE OF HAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the damage of hair capable of evaluating the damage of hair with high replicability even when a small amount of hair is used, and a method for evaluating a specimen capable of evaluating the damage of hair given by a specimen with high replicability even when a small amount of hair is used.SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the damage of hair uses, as an index of the damage of hair, an amount of a 16-22C fatty acid amide contained in hair and evaluates the damage of the hair on the basis of the amount of the 16-22C fatty acid amide contained in the hair.
