CYLINDER HEAD OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine having a combustion chamber upper part which functions as a valve seat, and can form an optimum working fluid swirl.SOLUTION: A combustion chamber upper member 107 has a thin plate shape along an inner face of a cylinder head 100 for forming a combustion chamber 103. The combustion chamber upper member 107 has a valve seat part 107a and a combustion chamber face forming part 107b. The valve seat part 107a is formed in response to a position in which an intake port 102 and an exhaust port 104 are formed. The valve seat part 107a has a shape similar to that of a conventional valve seat, and has a function similar to that of the conventional valve seat. The combustion chamber forming part 107b is formed of a portion except for the valve seat part 107a out of the combustion chamber upper member 107. The combustion chamber forming part 107b is arranged while tightly adhering to an inner face of the cylinder head 100 which forms the combustion chamber 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 バルブシートとして機能し、最適な作動流体渦を形成できる燃焼室上部部材を有する内燃機関のシリンダヘッドの提供。【解決手段】 燃焼室上部部材１０７は、燃焼室１０３を形成するシリンダヘッド１００の内面に沿った薄板形状を有している。燃焼室上部部材１０７は、バルブシート部１０７ａ、及び、燃焼室面形成部１０７ｂを有している。バルブシート部１０７ａは、吸気口１０２及び排気口１０４が形成される位置に対応して形成される。バルブシート部１０７ａは、従来のバルブシートと同様の形状を有し、従来のバルブシートと同様の機能を有する。燃焼室面形成部１０７ｂは、燃焼室上部部材１０７のうちバルブシート部１０７ａを除いた部分により形成される。燃焼室面形成部１０７ｂは、燃焼室１０３を形成するシリンダヘッド１００の内面に密着して配置される。【選択図】 図１
