Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesia-spinel brick in which cracks generated during firing is suppressed, reduction in a yield is suppressed, and further, the generation of cracks in the use is suppressed.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a magnesia-spinel brick where, in addition to magnesia raw material and spinel raw material to form into aggregates, alumina raw material of 2 to 8 mass% and sintering raw material of magnesia and spinel of 20 to 60 mass% having an AlOcontent of 3 to 25 mass% and a porosity of 10 to 20% are mixed and fired, and the AlOcontent of the whole brick is controlled to 3 to 25 mass%. In this way, expansion and shrinkage upon firing are well-balanced, the generation of cracks upon firing can be suppressed, a yield can be improved, and further, the generation of cracks in the use can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】焼成中に発生する亀裂を抑制し、歩留りの低下を抑え、更に、使用中の亀裂の発生も抑えたマグネシア・スピネル煉瓦を提供する。【解決手段】骨材となるマグネシア原料、スピネル原料に加えて、アルミナ原料2〜8質量%と、Al2O3を含有量が3〜25質量%であり気孔率が10〜20%のマグネシアとスピネルの焼結原料を20〜60質量%とを混合して焼成し、煉瓦全体のAl2O3含有量が3〜25質量%としたマグネシア・スピネル煉瓦の製造方法に関するものである。これにより、焼成時の膨張と収縮のバランスがとれ、焼成中の亀裂発生を抑制することができ、歩留りを向上させることができるとともに、使用中の亀裂の発生も抑えることができる。【選択図】なし
