PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mailbox device, control method, and control program capable of accurately determining whether a mailed object put in a mailbox is an absence delivery slip or not.SOLUTION: A mail box device includes: a mailbox body including a mailing port 103 and keeping a mailed object put through the mailing port; a holding section 110 disposed inside the mailbox body for holding a mailed object put through the mailing port if the mailed object weighs a predetermined value or less; a detection section for detecting a mailed object held by the holding section; an imaging section for capturing an image of the mailed object held by the holding section; a memory section storing an address of a terminal of a user; a determination section for determining whether the mailed object is an absence delivery slip or not based on an image captured by the imaging section; and a notification section for providing predetermined information to an address when the mailed object is an absence delivery slip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A 【課題】郵便受けに投函された投函物が不在票であるか否かをより精度良く判定することが可能な郵便受け装置、制御方法及び制御プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】郵便受け装置は、投函口１０３が設けられ、投函口から投函された投函物を格納する郵便受け本体と、郵便受け本体内部に設けられ、投函口から投函された投函物の重量が所定値以下である場合は投函物を保持する保持部１１０と、保持部によって保持された投函物を検出する検出部と、保持部によって保持された投函物の画像を撮像する撮像部と、利用者の端末のアドレスを記憶する記憶部と、撮像部により撮像された画像に基づいて、投函物が不在票であるか否かを判定する判定部と、投函物が不在票である場合、所定の情報をアドレスに通知する通知部と、を有する。【選択図】図４Ａ
