Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat type battery having excellent productivity and a manufacturing method of them.SOLUTION: A flat type battery of the present invention, is constructed so that a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution are sealed in a space which is formed by sealing an opening of an outer can through a gasket through a separator. The gasket includes: a base part in which a bottom surface is arranged on an inner bottom surface side of the outer can; an internal wall and an external wall which are stood toward the sealing can from the base part. A gap is provided between the inner wall and the outer wall, and a peripheral wall of the sealing can is inserted into the gap. An inner surface of the inner wall of the gasket has a rough surface. At least one part of the separator is contacted with the inner surface of the inner wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 生産性に優れた扁平形電池と、その製造方法とを提供する。【解決手段】 本発明の扁平形電池は、外装缶の開口をガスケットを介して封口缶で封口することで形成された空間内に、セパレータを介して積層された正極および負極、並びに電解液が封入されてなり、前記ガスケットは、底面が前記外装缶の内底面側に配置されるベース部と、前記ベース部から封口缶側へ向けて立ち上がる内壁および外壁とを有しており、前記内壁と前記外壁との間には隙間が設けられていて、前記封口缶の周壁が前記隙間に挿入されており、前記ガスケットの前記内壁の内面が粗面であり、前記セパレータの少なくとも一部が前記内壁の内面と接していることを特徴とするものである。【選択図】 図3
