Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of disconnection and breakage of a harness 388 of a document width sensor 273 at the time of oscillating a sheet feeding guide upper plate 300 around an oscillation shaft 389 as a sheet feeding cover unit 390 together with a sheet feeding cover 298 and the like.SOLUTION: In an automatic document conveyance device 251 which includes: a sheet feeding guide upper plate 300 and a sheet feeding guide lower plate 301 forming a conveyance path for conveying a document sheet in a gap in a mutually-facing region; a document width sensor 273 detecting the document sheet in the conveyance path; and holding means holding the sheet feeding guide upper plate 300 in a manner of being capable of oscillating, and in which the inside of the conveyance path is exposed by separating the sheet feeding guide upper plate 300 from the sheet feeding guide lower plate 301, the document width sensor 273 is held by the sheet feeding guide lower plate 301. With this configuration, even if the sheet feeding guide upper plate 300 is oscillated, since the document width sensor 273 stands still on the body side together with the sheet feeding guide lower plate 301, the occurrence of disconnection and breakage of a harness 388 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】給送ガイド上板300を給送カバー298などともに給送カバーユニット390として、揺動軸389を中心にして揺動させる際における原稿幅センサー273のハーネス388の断線や破損の発生を抑える。【解決手段】原稿シートを搬送するための搬送路を互いの対向領域の間隙に形成する給送ガイド上板300及び給送ガイド下板301と、搬送路内の原稿シートを検知する原稿幅センサー273と、給送ガイド上板300を揺動可能に保持する保持手段とを有し、給送ガイド上板300を給送ガイド下板301から遠ざけることで搬送路内を露出させる自動原稿搬送装置251において、原稿幅センサー273を給送ガイド下板301に保持させた。かかる構成では、給送ガイド上板300を揺動させても、原稿幅センサー273を給送ガイド下板301とともに本体側で静止させていることから、ハーネス388の断線や破損の発生を抑えることができる。【選択図】図9
