Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium-sized container in which generation risk of damage or consumption of a metal cap part is reduced, and a method for use of the medium-sized container.SOLUTION: This medium-sized container is a medium-sized container made of a stainless steel of which a volume is not less than 100 L and not more than 300 L. The medium-sized container comprises: a container member including a container body part 10 and a metal cap part 20; a closing member 40 which is mounted to the metal cap part 20; and a seal ring 50 which is located between the metal cap part 20 and the closing member 40. The metal cap part 20 is provided with a first screw thread 23, and the closing member 40 is provided with a second screw thread 43 which is engaged with the first screw thread 23.
