Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with a conventional tooth plaque detection device that when tooth plaque adheres to the tip of a detection part, it is difficult to perform measurement by distinguishing between fluorescence attributed to the adhering tooth plaque and tooth plaque fluorescence which is a measurement object.SOLUTION: A tooth plaque detection device of the present invention is a tooth plaque detection device for irradiating a light onto a sample and measuring the intensity of fluorescence generated from the sample, which is provided with a waveguide 1 for guiding the light and the fluorescence, and includes a valve part 3 which is opened/closed by being pressed by the tip of the waveguide 1 while sliding with the tip of the waveguide 1, and a valve part moving mechanism 5 for moving the valve part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】従来の歯垢検出装置では、検出部先端に歯垢が付着した時、付着した歯垢に起因する蛍光と測定対象である歯垢蛍光を分離して測定することが困難であった。【解決手段】本発明の歯垢検出装置は、光を試料に照射して、試料から発生する蛍光強度を測定する歯垢検出装置であって、光及び蛍光を導波するための導波路1を備え、導波路1の先端で押圧することによって、導波路1の先端と摺動しながら開閉する弁部3と、弁部3を移動させるための弁部移動機構5とを有することを特徴としている。【選択図】図3
