Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell capable of improving reliability of a battery.SOLUTION: An electrochemical cell includes a positive electrode 5, a negative electrode 3 having a negative electrode collector exposed part 20a where a negative electrode collector 20 is exposed, and a separator 6 interposed between the positive electrode 5 and negative electrode 3. The positive electrode 5 has a folding part 5v folded to clamp the negative electrode 3 via the separator 6, and facing the negative electrode collector exposed part 20a, and an ion impermeable part 50, not transmitting ions, is provided between the negative electrode collector exposed part 20a and folding part 5v.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】電池の信頼性を向上することができる電気化学セルを提供する。【解決手段】電気化学セルは、正極電極５と、負極集電体２０が露出した負極集電体露出部２０ａを有する負極電極３と、正極電極５と負極電極３との間に配置されたセパレータ６と、を備え、正極電極５は、セパレータ６を介して負極電極３を挟むように折り曲げられるとともに、負極集電体露出部２０ａと対向する折曲げ部５ｖを有し、負極集電体露出部２０ａと折曲げ部５ｖとの間には、イオンを透過させないイオン不透過部５０が設けられている。【選択図】図６
