Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily determining imaging arrangement pertaining to imaging with an imaging device having two illumination optical systems, with which it is possible to efficiently obtain images of good quality.SOLUTION: The method includes: first, determining an effective visual field area when images are captured by an imaging device (step S210); then, arranging a plurality of imaging positions along the wall surface of a sample storage part at which imaging using a first illumination optical system is to be performed (steps S220, S230); thereafter, arranging a plurality of imaging positions, in other than the effective visual field area obtained by imaging at the plurality of imaging positions determined in steps S220, S230, at which imaging using a second illumination optical system is to be performed, so that a discretionary position in the sample container is included in an effective visual field area obtained by imaging at one of all imaging positions at the least (step S240).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
