Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact combustion type gas sensor which can prevent in advance uneven heating in sintering, be used immediately after being manufactured, and suppress manufacturing cost, a detection element structure of the contact combustion type gas sensor, and a manufacturing method for a detection element of the contact combustion type gas sensor.SOLUTION: There is provided a contact combustion type gas sensor X comprising a detection element 10 sensing a detected gas and a compensation element 20. The detection element 10 includes: a noble metal wire 11 including a coil part 11a formed in a coil shape; and a combustion catalyst part 12 formed by coating the coil part 11a with an insulative metal oxide carrier carrying a catalyst composed of noble metal active to the detected gas and performing sinter molding. The metal oxide is sintered in a heating furnace by being heated by the heating furnace.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】焼結時の加熱ムラを未然に防止し、製造後に迅速に使用でき、製造コストを抑制できる接触燃焼式ガスセンサ、接触燃焼式ガスセンサの検出素子構造体、および、接触燃焼式ガスセンサの検出素子の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】被検知ガスと感応する検出素子10および補償素子20を有する接触燃焼式ガスセンサXにおいて、検出素子10は、コイル状に形成したコイル部11aを有する貴金属線材11と、コイル部11aに、被検知ガスに対して活性な貴金属からなる触媒を坦持する絶縁性の金属酸化物の坦体を塗布して焼結成形した燃焼触媒部12と、を備え、金属酸化物を加熱炉による加熱により炉内で焼結させた。【選択図】図1
