Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain detection accuracy of deterioration of engine oil in a good state all the time.SOLUTION: An oil deterioration detection device S includes: an oil pan 1 for storing engine oil to be supplied to each portion of an engine; a deterioration sensor device 30 disposed in the oil pan 1 to detect a degree of deterioration of the engine oil through irradiation of light; and sensor cleaning means 20 for cleaning a contact surface of a transmissive member through which light is transmitted in the deterioration sensor device 30 with the engine oil. The sensor cleaning means 20 includes: a sliding contact member 24 coming into sliding contact with the contact surface; and operation means for moving the sliding contact member 24 by using a flow of the engine oil in the oil pan 1 to make the sliding contact member come into sliding contact with the sliding surface. As the operation means, a rotating body 22 rotated by the flow of the engine oil can be adopted, and the sliding contact member 24 is mounted to the rotating body 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】エンジンオイルの劣化の検出精度を常に良好な状態に維持する。【解決手段】エンジンの各部に供給されるエンジンオイルを溜めるオイルパン1と、オイルパン1内に配置されエンジンオイルの劣化度合を光の照射により検出する劣化センサ装置30と、劣化センサ装置30における光が通過する透過部材のエンジンオイルとの接触面を清掃するセンサ清掃手段20とを備えるオイル劣化検出装置Sとした。さらに、センサ清掃手段20は接触面に摺接する摺接部材24を備え、その摺接部材24をオイルパン1内のエンジンオイルの流れによって動かして接触面に摺接させる動作手段を備えた。動作手段としては、エンジンオイルの流れによって回転する回転体22を採用でき、摺接部材24は回転体22に取り付けられる。【選択図】図1
