CONVEYED ARTICLE RETENTION DETECTION DEVICE AND CONVEYED ARTICLE RETENTION DETECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect retention and accumulation of a conveyed article on a conveyer for conveying the conveyed article at an early stage.SOLUTION: A conveyed article retention detection device detects retention of a conveyed article 25 on a conveyer 24 in conveying the conveyed article 25 by the conveyer 24, and includes: a sensor 31 which detects that the conveyed article 25 passes through a predetermined area on the conveyer 24; a timer 32 which starts timing at a timing of starting conveyance of the conveyed article; a determination part 33 which determines whether the sensor 31 detects passage of the conveyed article 25 or not from a start of timing by the timer until a predetermined time passes; a control part 34 which determines that the conveyed article 25 is retained on the conveyer 24 when the determination part 33 determines that the sensor 31 does not detect the passage of the conveyed article 24 until the predetermined time passes, and emits a corresponding control signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】搬送物を搬送するコンベアにおける搬送物の滞留・堆積を早期に検知する。【解決手段】搬送物２５をコンベア２４で搬送する際に、コンベア２４上での搬送物２５の滞留を検知する搬送物滞留検知装置であって、コンベア２４上の所定エリアを搬送物２５が通過したことを検知するセンサー３１と、搬送物の搬送が開始されたタイミングで計時を開始するタイマー３２と、タイマーの計時開始から所定時間経過時までに、センサー３１が搬送物２５の通過を検知したか否かを判定する判定部３３と、判定部３３が、所定時間経過時までの間にセンサー３１が搬送物２４の通過を検知しなかったと判定した場合に、コンベア２４上で搬送物２５が滞留していると判断してそれに対処する制御信号を発する制御部３４とを有する。【選択図】 図３
