Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is easy to assume such a case that underwater shooting and on-water shooting are alternately performed as shooting scenes, and in such a case, it is very troublesome to switch a shooting mode because the shooting mode must be manually switched from the menu selection.SOLUTION: Currently, models having GPS units installed therein are increasing for imaging devices. In an imaging device having a GPS unit, an antenna receives a positioning radio wave from a GPS satellite, and a GPS module calculates the latitude and longitude to obtain current position information. When it is detected that the current position is on water and it is determined that the intensity of the positioning radio wave from the GPS satellite has decreased for a certain period of time, it is determined that it is underwater, whereby accurate underwater detection having little error detection can be automatically performed, and the imaging mode can be automatically switched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】撮影シーンとして水中と水上の撮影を交互に行う場合は容易に想定でき、このような場合撮影モードを切り替えるには手動でメニューの選択から撮影モードを切り替える必要があり、非常に手間がかかった。【解決手段】現在撮像装置にはGPSユニットを搭載している機種が増えている。GPSユニットを搭載している撮像装置において、アンテナがGPS衛星からの測位用電波を受信し、GPSモジュールが緯度、経度を算出し、現在位置情報を取得する。現在位置が水上であることを検出し、GPS衛星からの測位用電波強度が、一定時間低下したと判断した場合に水中であると判断することで誤検出の少ない正確な水中検知を自動的に行い、撮影モードを自動的に切り替えることができる。【選択図】図2
